Golden Anniversary 3 Day Break

The West Midlands Section is pleased to invite you

to our

Golden Anniversary Spring Break

15th -18th June 2020.

The dates of this event have been organised so that those wishing to attend

The National Rally at Burghley can enjoy a weeks holiday instead of just a few days, and this will be a holiday to remember.

The Chateau is a beautiful hotel, originally built for his French wife by John Corbett , known locally as the ‘Salt King’ from whence his fortune came,.

We will have rooms in the Chateau and in the adjacent courtyard.

During our stay, we will explore some of the many delights to be found within the Section’s geographical area. We will visit;

The RSC at Stratford upon Avon with a fascinating ‘behind the scenes’ tour

A cruise along the River Avon

A visit to Worcester Royal Porcelain, including a talk and demonstration

by one of their finest craftsmen.

A guided tour of Madresfield Court near Malvern, which has been in the ownership of the Lygon family for almost 600 years.

AND…last but certainly not least….

On Monday, 15th June, you will not be able to check in until 3pm, but I urge everybody to arrive by 2.00pm to participate in a really big surprise!!!

Monday and Tuesday evenings are smart casual wear and Wednesday night

is Black Tie and party frocks, with entertainment and wine provided.
