WEST MIDLANDS SECTION
The section covers one of the largest geographical areas within ‘ RREC UK’, and includes Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, West Midlands, and Worcestershire, and we also have members in adjoining counties, everyone is welcome, and remember to bring your friends, children, and at most outdoor events your 4 legged friends, just check with us just in case.
We have two forms of membership. Annual Membership covers you from the first of January to the 31st December each year and costs £15 pa. With annual membership you enjoy full access to the website, a printed magazine delivered to your doorstep each quarter and invites to all the section events throughout the year
The second form of membership is a Lifetime one, which comes at a one off cost of just £25 and entitles you to everything the annual membership covers with the exception that you will not receive a printed magazine. Details and application forms can be found HERE
Our events span the year, January to December, with events advised via our section ‘Magazine’, published 4 times a year.
We invite members to send in articles, photo’s to our Magazine Editor for inclusion, however large or small, our editor will make them fit, (email@example.com) and will run them in the next available publication. We also have advertising space available in the Magazine, should you know of a business within our section who would like to advertise at modest costs, just let us know, you can also advertise any cars or spare parts you have for sale, at no cost, but if you sell them, a donation is acceptable, contact the Secretary or Chairman.
Our aims are to offer a wide range of events for our members and friends throughout the year, but remembering we are only a car club of like minded people who enjoy getting together with people and their cars for mutual enjoyment.
We would also like to hear from members, or anyone who has ideas for future events, give the Chairman a call, and the committee will investigate your proposals, remember events can take up to 18 months to plan. We are only a telephone call away, or even an e-mail for those who have embraced the electronic age, we look forward to seeing you at an event soon.

Brexit and Driving in the EU
The deal between the UK and the EU did not include the UK remaining in the European free circulation zone. Therefore, UK motorists will need to carry a valid Green Card when driving their vehicles in EU countries. Clients may also need an International Driving Permit, should have a GB sticker on their vehicle and also carry a copy of their V5 document when driving in the EU. See https://www.gov.uk/driving-abroad for full details.
The good news is, if you’re an RH client, you won’t be charged a single penny in admin fees when requesting a Green Card. You can elect to receive your Green Card via email (you would need to download and print a hard copy) or post. If you select the postal option, you are asked to allow up to 3 weeks for delivery. You can provide the RH team with details of your intended travel in EU countries either via email – firstname.lastname@example.org or call them on 0333 043 3911.
